Premises

Vertex Industrial Training Institute is located in the heart of the city in Kotlanala, Solan on Rajgarh Road. It is about 46 Kms from the capital of the state Shimla and 75 Kms from the Chandigarh. It is an ideal destination for attaining academic excellence. This institute has adequate land, building and well equipped laboratory for COPA and Electrician courses with a total area of 5000 sq. ft. This institute was started in the year 2009.

Student Support System.

The courses are geared to the needs of mature industry professional. The institute offers a variety of ways to learn and study textual contents simulations, case study, faculty interaction, class attendance, peer interaction and encourage
the student to choose what suits them the best.

Vocational Training Programme

Vocational Training is a concurrent subject under the institutionalize vocational training under Craftsmen Training Scheme. Vocational Training System under the aegis of NCVT of DGE&T,Ministry of labour & Employment, Government of India in 1950 to ensure a steady flow of skilled persons in different trades for fulfilling needs of industries providing qualitatively the industrial production by systematic training, to cultivate and nurture a technical and industrial attitude in the minds of the younger generations scheme, the most important in the shaping craftsmen to meet the existing as well as future needs, through the vast networks of ITIs / Pvt.

ITI in the various State / U.T.s in the country. The day to day administration of ITIs / Pvt. ITI under craftsmen Training Scheme was transferred to states / U.T.s financial control of Industrial Training Institutes / Centres in the States as well as U.T.s has been transferred from the first April, 1969 to the respective State Governments / U.T.s. The objective of setting up to ITIs/Pvt. ITI is to ensure a steady flow of skilled manpower in the different trades for the industries. To raise the quantity of production by systematic training to needy youth and to reduce unemployment among the educated youth by equipping them for suitable Industrial employment in the State / U.T.s./Central Government as wellas Multinationals Companies in the Country including overseas.

The apprenticeship training is imparted under the Apprentices Act, 1961 in Industrial establishments to school leavers and ITI pass outs with the objective to prepare skilled workers for the Industry.
